Sebastian’s career in digital marketing began in 2022 when he worked as an Entrepreneurship Intern, managing the social media account for the nonprofit Expanding Frontiers. Soon after, he founded Shape Cards, a digital business card company. He joined our team in 2024 as a Client Success Coordinator and Operations Analyst and has done excellent work in both client success and the implementation of automations. During his time with Cobalt, he also served as a Global Marketing Intern for DELL Technologies, and he joined the team at Vmobi, an AI glasses startup.
Sebastian moved from Mexico to the United States when he was 17. When he first came to the US, he wasn’t fluent in English, and he quickly had to become used to the new culture and new systems. A big part of his learning was done at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business. Since then, he’s become highly capable and skilled, ready to take on multiple challenges and projects, consistently completing proficient work.
When he’s not working hard with the rest of the Client Support and Success Team to ensure our ongoing strong relationships with clients, Sebastian spends his time being active, cooking, and traveling, He can often be found working out in the great outdoors, and he loves to travel at least twice a year with his family. In his cooking, Sebastian’s favorite thing is to play with colors, textures, and temperatures, with the act of cooking being a real creative process for him.
“I like fast-paced industries, and digital marketing is very fast-paced. The social and psychological aspects of marketing also align with my extroverted personality. Another branch of marketing that attracts me is sales, as I see it as a challenge. Sales, for me, is about truly helping the client achieve positive results. Another aspect that I’m passionate about that’s maybe not directly related to marketing but that provides high benefits to it is automations, which allows marketing agencies to act and grow faster in a fast-paced industry.”
